High Chief Kunle Alabi Responds To Oluwo Critics

High Chief Kunle Alabi
While Iwo citizens are been joyous since the reigning of Oba Adewale Akanbi, it is very surprising that some enemies of progress take perfect interest in criticizing the Emperor on social networks. So many dignitaries have stood against this inhumane action, and the well respected Iwo-born Journalist is not left out in airing his opinion.

The Iwo icon who has been involved in many publications took on to a popular social network and this is what he had to say:

We should be very careful about what we say on our Yoruba Culture and its custodians, who are primarily our Obas (Kings). They are both sacred. They must be handled with respect, care and love. The above is by the way of preamble.

Let me start by saying that We, the sons and daughters of Oluwo Abdul Rasheed Adewale AKANBI, do not see anything bad in what our King wears.
We don't even believe that our Royal Father has committed any sacrilegious act(s) against Yoruba culture and traditions to warrant the negative attention of the emergency e-rats in the toga of modern day phone journalists. Be that as it may, the Iwo people love the King as true children would love their biological fathers.
Since his ascension to the Oluwo Stool on the 9th November, 2015, Oba Akanbi has been up and doing. He has been positively doing everything to move Iwoland forward.
While observing his mandatory tutelage in Ile Onto as the newly installed Oluwo of Iwo, modern day toilets were constructed. The first time such a thing would be done in the house of culture.

Before he left Ile Onto, the Oluwo AKANBI had commenced the renovation of one of the Palace buildings. It is today a beautiful edifice to behold. We love the newly renovated masterpiece. May God continue to bless the soul of Oba Ashiru Olatubosun TADESE, Ariwajoye 1, our visionary imperial Majesty, who built the big edifice at twilight of the 20th century.

Today, Oluwo Palace is still under going a serious construction exercise that on daily basis positively transforms the general looks of the ancient Palace. The landscape is a tourist attraction, while the whole Palace is a toast for the tourists.
While all those things are on going, the Kabiyesi visits schools in his jurisdiction, preaching steadfast, industry, diligence, love and togetherness among the students and their teachers.

If there is any hullabaloo, Oluwo AKANBI would be there live to calm down the upheaval, once and for all. This system has been wonderfully working. To God be the glory, Iwoland is enjoying peace.

Between November, 2015 and date, Iwo has been hosting notable Nigerians, including, President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR and the Sultan of Sokoto.
Oluwo AKANBI has been networking business moguls with a view to siting their business ventures in Iwoland.

We are, therefore, less concerned about the kind of attires being worn by our Prescribing Authority for all six Local Government Areas of AYIWOLA Federal Constituency, Osun State. Needless to say that Iwoland is ten percent of the entire Osun State. That is just by the way.

Our ever neat Oluwo who doubles as Deputy Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas is our symbol for love, oneness and promotion of the greater Iwoland.

Nicely said, may the God almighty turn against the enemies of Iwo land.
