His imperial majesty, the Olluwo of Iwo land,HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY OLUWO OF IWOLAND OBA ABDUL RASHEED ADEWALE AKANBI ILUFEMILOYE TELU I has commissioned the historic borehole donated to staffs and pupils of BAPTIST DAY SCHOOL OKE ODO IWO BY THE 1946/53 SET of the school. 

While commissioning the borehole , OBA ADEWALE AKANBI commended the decision of1946/53 SET OF BAPTIST DAY SCHOOL OKE ODO IWO . HE described the gesture of the whole students of the primary school as a show of patriotism and love of humanity.

 The king then call on others to emulate the 1946/53 SET OF BAPTIST DAY SCHOOL OKE ODO, IWO by giving back to the communitywhat their communities have given them. The six living members of the set that passed out of BAPTIST DAY SCHOOL IWO 70 years ago that attended the commissioning are: Prof. Supo Ladipo , Chief Dr. Oluremi Atanda OFR, PA Goke Onigbinde , HON. Femi Atanda , PA Lateef Agboola and PA Misamilu Balogun . 

The school headteacher MRS OLUWASANMI , NUT Chairman Iwo LG Comrade Semiu Adigun AND LGA Chairman Iwo LG, Jiire Ayinla also attended the event.
