"Up Lawal" Congratulates Muslim Faithfuls On Ileya Day

The executive chairman, Iwo East LCDA, Olomowewe, Iwo, Hon Rahaman Lawal has congratulated the Muslims of his local government on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir

The Executive chairman while sending his congratulatory message urged Muslim to use the holy period to spread good deeds and follow the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim whose legacies led to the birth of Ileya Day celebrations.

Hon. Lawal further charged the Muslim community in Iwo, to accommodate people of other religion and embrace unity for the betterment of the local government, Osun state, and Nigeria at large.

His statement reads in part;

I am happy to congratulate the Muslims on this Ileya's day celebration. It is not just a celebration but a call to action, the Muslims are hereby implored to be good ambassadors to the land and spread their love to the people of other religion. 

Islam teaches unity and it must be followed by all of us.

 Let us all follow the teachings of the Prophets Muhammed and Ibrahim who have core history in the fulfillment of Eid-el Kabir.

O'Lawal further affirmed his commitment to the betterment of all people as he stated his government is aimed to continue making life worthwhile for everybody.
