Honorable Rahmon Lawal Adopts Young Girl Wounded In Collapsed Building, Foots All Her Biils
Honourable Rahaman Abiola gave the order while he paid a visit to the young girl at the private hospital at Iwo where she was receiving treatment.
The Chairman who disclosed this in an interview said that he was moved when he saw the little girl"s critical condition shortly after the incidence.
He said that he had ordered that building officials of the council should go round the council area to identify dilapidated buildings with a view to taking definite decision on them.
It will be recalled that Dokun Tella building along Hospital Road Iwo collapsed yesterday badly wounding a twelve-year-old girl who was taking her bath then.
It took Officials of the State Fire Service and other people around several minutes before the girl could be rescued.
