Arise Initiative Executive Director Wins State Award [Photos]


The Executive Director of Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative, Mr Yusuff Ola-Gold, Mutalub was among the fifteen youths in the state of Osun that was given Award of Excellence at the maiden edition of Osun Youths Talent Awards on Friday, 25th November, 2016.

The award ceremony that took at the Osogbo City Hall, Olohunkoro was put together by Youth Reformer Initiative. Dignitaries and top government functionaries attended the award ceremony including the a member of Osun State House of Assembly and the chairman house committee on information, Hon Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, the former SSA on Environment to the state government of Osun,  Barr Bola Abimbola Ige, Hon Airat Mojirade Alamu, Commissioner of Police, Osun State was ably represented as well the that of Hon Akinwale Akinwole Omilaj.

The Royal Father of the day, Ọba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Ilufemiloye Telu 1 was ably represented by Aremo of Iwoland, High Prince Adelani Akanbi at the occasion.

In her welcome address, the President of Youth Reformer Initiative who also serve as the chairman of the organizing committee, Ajibola Aminat noted that the aim of the award is to appreciate youths who have distinguished themselves in their respective area of calling and encourage others to do well. She also explained that the award ceremony being the maiden edition shall be an annual event.


The chairman of ASUU, Osun State University, Dr M O Abanikanda was the guest lecturer.

Some of the youths that were given awards of excellence along with Yusuff Mutalub  were the Osun State Chairman of  Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,  Prince Hammed Oyegbade, the National Coordinator of Brain Builders International, Mr Olasupo Abideen, Oluwaseun Tamimola Salawu popular know as DJ Bassman, the initiator and Executive Director of Metadors Leadership Institute, Mr Dayo Nigeria, Popular Nollyhood star, Muideen Oladapo, CEO of C-Fancy Embroidery, Miss Toyosi Ojo William, The Director of SAED Africa,  Mr Semih Adabanija among others.
